President’s Message
Castle Park University represents a departure from the educational past and the introduction to the educational future. A future based not on abandonment, disregard, or disrespect of the past, but future that is in keeping with the world in which we live and the progress occasioned by the advent of superior educational systems made possible by television and the rapid, almost explosive advance of computer technology.
The education profession has been one of the slowest to recognize the need for change because of adherence to tradition. But while tradition itself contemplates some change, it customarily places too much reliance on the past. Some persons profess to look but yet fail to see; others claim to listen but fail to hear. We at Castle Park University believe that educators should take on a look of modern flexibility and accommodation.
Time after time I have been told by CEO’S of leading corporations that the greatest problem facing industry today is incompetency in the workplace. We at Castle Park University are mindful of this fact and impress upon our educators the need to formulate study plans which emphasize not only the solving of practical problems in the workplace, but also to urge students to develop programs within the workplace that will in turn make other employees more productive. As each employee becomes more productive a ripple effect is set up which in turn benefits the overall productively of the organization.
At Castle Park University, we have adopted educational programs that focus on the needs of the student that make him more competitive in his chosen field. Indeed, Castle Park University motto is “Transforming lives through Innovation and Technology.” We feel that if we do not make our students more competitive as well as better education, we have failed our mission.
We live in an era that is not only changing rapidly, but the people are becoming more competitive as the change is going on. We are confident that with our up-to-date educational programs, the mature adult’s student can, with support from qualified educators, learn those basics which are essential to his chosen field and upon graduation be better able to compete in today’s dynamic marketplace. In that context, the Castle Park University graduate will be a credit not only to his chosen field of endeavour, but to his family, his community and his nation.
Sincerely,
Prof. Alfred Clark PhD.
President
